DESCRIPTION:
The Director of Marketing
is responsible for the day-to-day support of the field organization as well as
the key marketing programs that support our business including educational
initiatives. Responsibilities also include managing the Inside Sales function
and driving the development of new programs to enhance the effectiveness of
this program. This position reports to the VP, Global Marketing and works
closely with both our primary & subsidiary field organizations, strategic
partners and distributors to drive business of all existing products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead downstream marketing
efforts and provide day-to-day front line support for the company's direct
sales force as well as strategic partners.
- Identify and develop
effective sales productivity tools, collateral, internal training programs
including new hire training and refresher training, promotional sales programs
to drive orders, marketing tools that communicate the company's value
proposition, and competitive intelligence in pre-empting competitive landmines
- Lead the company's
education efforts both internally and with 3rd party medical education
companies
- Develop and execute
global marketing plans for Mammography, MRI and CT product lines, related
support services, and educational offerings focused on maximizing orders,
revenue and profitability
- Analyze existing business
according to various segmentations and competitive win/loss data to direct the
development of key marketing programs to maximize revenue
- Deliver marketing input
to tradeshow strategy and provide support in executing tradeshow elements
including messaging, events, etc.
- Lead the inside sales
function which is responsible for contributing to the opportunity pipeline for
our subsidiary company's market segments
- Manage US and
international luminary relationships, establishing executable quarterly and
annual goals and objectives to support the company's product development and
clinical marketing objectives
- Negotiate government and
commercial contracts
- Cultivate the imaging
OEMs, PACS companies and distributors globally to increase current year sales
(Promotions/programs, sales/apps training, inside sales, luminary site
development, etc.)
- Cultivate relationships
with industry organizations and support sales efforts for Group Purchasing
Organizations
- Interdisciplinary leader
to ensure cross-functional readiness for new product and service launches
- Lead the process of
obtaining and disseminating competitive intelligence to the field for all
product lines

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong communication
skills, high energy and the ability to lead team in servicing all needs of
sales force required.
- Minimum 5-10 years
experience in sales support and customer service, sales or field-related
experience desirable
- Minimum of 5 years
marketing experience in healthcare industry (medical devices/software
preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to
communicate complex/intangible products effectively
- Bachelors degree in
Business Administration or Sales and Marketing; MBA preferred
- Demonstrated abilities
and experience with channel management
- Available to travel
